It would get so hot and if I was downloading a movie or anything, it would get really loud and sometimes shut off. I didn't have a large budget, and I found this at best buy for $479. It had good reviews in consumer reports, and my choice was between this and the dell inspiron. I bought this because it was about $70 cheaper, had 80 more gigs of hard drive space and an extra gig of ram, plus, it had a built in webcam. It's great for what I need it for (so far) which is homework, downloading movies/music, light video editing, and general every day web browsing. I will say though that the webcam sucks. It is very dark (even with lots of lights on around me) and it's very fuzzy. I'm kind of disappointed because it was one of the selling points for me, to have the webcam built in, but it looks like I will have to use my logitech pro still. I will try and play around with the settings though and see if that will help any. <br /> <br />Overall though I am still giving this a 5 star review because of the fact that the price I paid today was great for what I am getting.
