I purchased this battery and got it within three days. But after opening the package only 2 lights were lit on the battery so i charged it to 100%. after about 20 minutes of use for the first time my laptop died. so i then recharged the battery. and in about 2 minutes it went from 5% to 100% so i thought maybe its just not my laptop is just adjusting to the battery….. Well needless to say after unplugging it and mousing over the battery icon and every time i moused over it it dropped by about 7% i was extremely upset. I have emailed the supplier and no response yet. will be calling them in the morning.

This battery is not rechargeable. It is a one-time use battery for a laptop. Who wants that? What a waste of money. Spend the extra bucks for the official Dell replacement battery.

I got this battery to replace the one in my Dell studio 1537, which died after less than a year of use. The new battery arrived on time, was easy to install and has worked well since. It has a ridge that keeps the laptop slightly elevated in the rear when placed on a table, which I believe is helpful in preventing overheating. Overall, a good buy.
